The goal of the project is to streamline and simplify the quotation process by implementing a system that efficiently collects and manages customer inquiries. This system aims to improve the accuracy and organization of quotations, enhance communication between staff and customers, and ensure that all inquiries are promptly addressed and tracked through their status, whether a quote has been provided or is still pending.
One of the challenges I faced was identifying the specific parameters needed to be collected from users' inquiries, as different services required different information on the form. Additionally, developing the database was challenging because the varied data collected necessitated the use of bridged tables to effectively manage and relate the information. This complexity required careful planning and design to ensure the system could handle diverse inquiry data efficiently.
