Titanic Data Exploration
This project, part of the TalentLab KYouth Programme, focuses on data exploration of the Titanic dataset using SQLite. I decided to take an additional step by implementing data visualization with Power BI to enhance understanding and make it easier to identify factors influencing the outcomes. By visualizing the data, insights can be more effectively observed, and trends can be more readily noticed.
The data is provided in a database format using SQLite but can also be sourced from Kaggle. This project involves understanding the dataset from both a business and technical context, followed by exploring and drawing conclusions from the database. After completing the initial analysis, I used ODBC to connect the data to Power BI, enabling a deeper exploration of the survival rates of Titanic passengers based on various passenger attributes.
